Around Bucks County

Bucks County is an incredible place to call home. I grew up in Lumberville, along the Delaware River but my parents had friends who were farmers in upper Bucks County and I have fond memories of spending time on their working farms. For an artist, Bucks County has endless inspiration and so much to discover and explore. The long history of artists who made their home in this region make it very unique. I grew up admiring the work of the Bucks County painters like Ranulph Bye, Edward Redfield and Daniel Garber, whose paintings hung on the walls in many of my neighbors' and family friends' homes. They influenced and informed my journey as an artist. They continue to inspire me as does the work of Andrew Wyeth.
