“En Plein Air, No Constraints” describes the artists’ personal approach to en plein air (French for “open air” – painting from life, outside). There is some magic to the en plein air painting experience. Capturing both subject and atmosphere in color and light is challenging and exciting as artists seek to describe the natural world around them. There are no rules or boundaries, free to express their own individual style and points of view.
